First post on my first blog. I have no idea what I want to accomplish with this. I'm thinking I'll figure it out as I go. I wish I would have thought of the Pioneer Woman first, or any other blog that's been here first, but here we are.
If you're curious where the name came from, well I just got back from my first ever vacation-- to Seattle. There's a bar there called A Terrible Beauty. A friend calls it the "filthy mistress." I love the phrase & right now I'm feeling ridiculous for forming a heart breaking attachment to a married man, online. Can't get much tackier or more ridiculous than that, & that almost makes me a mistress, so here we are.
I'm hoping to figure out how to stop doing those things & to get sober & maybe figure out what I want. I will probably be whining a lot. Because I can.
